On the field rules
In an effort to make this game a “FAIR PLAY” we instituted several variations from FIFA.
Here are the top 10
ON THE FIELD
- No sliding/tackles even if no other player near(a knee on the ground is considered slide tackle)
- All fouls, handballs, kick off and any infraction is restarted with an INDIRECT free kick. (except penalty kick). 5 SECONDS to restart
- No throw-ins, when ball leaves the side line. You restart with stopped ball on the ground with indirect free kick within a yard from side line.
- Wall distance. Immediate 5 referee’s steps, 7 if wall requested.
- Yellow cards. Player gets substituted immediately, If no subs, then 2 minute wait time before return. If golie gets Yellow card, you may play short for two minutes and goalie can stay on field. Two yellows by same player, player is done for the game but team may replace it. Direct red card, team plays short.
- GOAL KICK: Goalie may choose to use hands or to kick it, when second player touches ball it is live! (you get 5 seconds) BALL CAN NOT CROSS HALF BY AIR FROM A GOAL KICK. Live balls may cross the half by air by hand or dropkick.
- After goal scored. Five seconds to allow team to kick off.
- Substitutions: Any stoppage of play and “ON THE FLY” with referee’s approval. If team has 7 or more player when scoring the goal will not count.
- Offense players must stay on two feet after scoring a goal.
- Moving ball from goal kick maybe played from behind end line to expediate play.
